DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS
HomeCare Australia is an endorsed provider to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). We currently provide services in Newcastle; Lake Macquarie and the wider Hunter region.
Owing to significant growth in the demand for our services we seek suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team.
To be successful you will have:

Cert III or IV in disability services and/or relevant experience in the sector
-
Available for ongoing permanent shifts (weekend work also available)

A Passion to assist our most vulnerable citizens access the community
-
A caring and professional attitude
We provide the following services to NDIS Participants:

Assistance with daily personal activities
-
Participation in community, social and civic activities
-
Assistance with travel/transport arrangements
-
Household tasks
-
Community nursing for high care needs

LAWN, GARDEN AND HOUSEHOLD
HomeCare Australia provides the following services to clients on an adhoc and regular basis:

Regular Mowing services

Regular garden maintenance services - including pruning and weeding

One off yard clearances

Gutter cleans
-
High pressure water blasting
We seek dedicated and professional individuals to join our team.
To be considered, you will need:

Valid Drivers License and work vehicle
-
Minimum 12 months industry experience
The following equipment in good working order as a minimum:
-
lawn mower with catcher
-
whipper snipper
-
gardening tools for weeding
-
blower
-
hedgers and associated equipment
-
ladders suitable to clean gutters on a single story house
-
Australian Police Check completed in last 3 months
-
Current CV detailing your relevant experience

Minimum 2 work related references

DOMESTIC ASSISTANCE SERVICES
HomeCare Australia provides domestic assistance services on an adhoc or regular basis as required by our clients.
We seek dedicated and professional individuals to join our team.
You will need:

Your own transport
-
minimum 12 months experience providing similar services
-
minimum 2 work related references
-
Federal Police Check - less than 3 months old
-
Current working with children check - less than 3 months old

PERSONAL CARE
HomeCare Australia provides personal care services on an ad hoc and ongoing basis to the elderly and disabled.
To become part of the support team you will need:

Valid Driver’s License

Comprehensive Insurance Policy (for transport jobs)

Current First Aid Certificate

Cert III or IV in Aged Care, Community Care or Disability Care

Minimum 12 months relevant experience

Current CV detailing your relevant experience

Minimum of 2 work related references

TRANSPORT SERVICES
HomeCare Australia provides a variety of transport services.
These include:

Escorted medical appointments

Transportation home from hospital

Accompanied and Unaccompanied shopping
To be considered to join out transport team you will need:

Australian Police Check (free of convictions for driving offences and less than 3 months old)

Working with children check (to transport children)
-
Current First Aid Certificate

Comprehensive Insurance
-
Current drivers license
-
4 door vehicle in good condition
Flexibility is key to working in our transport team, shifts are dependent upon client needs.
We offer a variety of shifts, paying an hourly rate for your time and also a km allowance for your car.
